On the 27th of January Michałów Stud held a New Year’s Meeting, which included a seminar from Professor Andrzej Raś about “Preparation of the mare and stallion for reproduction” and a presentation from Krzysztof Czarnota on “Artists, Visionaries, maybe Wizards; who has been breeding dream horses since two hundred years”. The meeting was attended by a numerous group of breeders, Arabian horse enthusiasts and Friends of Michałów. It was a wonderful atmosphere and feast for the soul, which can best be reflected through the quote from Krzysztof Czarnota: “Since two decades I have been intrigued by one phenomenon. As a nation we are not able to breed any significant species of farm animals, but our Arabian horses are the best in the world? I cannot think about Arabians without this background made up of history, tradition, culture and customs. Because in my opinion this determines the true strength of our breeding”.

During the Prince Sultan Arabian Horse Festival which took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on 25-27th of January our NORMA (Gazal Al Shaqab - Nina/Monogramm) won her 10 year old and above mares class with a high score of 92,2 pts.
